给美国客户回复了一封询盘,客户竟然说以后再也不想跟我们公司有来往了

这是客户看完我的开发信后回复的第一封邮件:
Hi XX,

Please quote price and delivery on the following magnet.

500PCS Neo 52 RE 26mm long X 24 diameter cuni coated price each &
door to door air freight shipping for total cost.

然后我就马上回复:
Dear XX,

Thanks very much for your reply.

For the Neo 52 RE 26mm long X 24 diameter cuni coated magnet, the EXW price is USD7.4/pc, and the door to door shipping for total cost is around USD 643, if by air, the cost is even more.
Do you have containers leaving China recently? It's better we send the magnets to your containers in China, then it's shipped to you along with the container to save your shipping cost, what do you think?

接下来就是客户的发飙邮件了:
Hello,

Thank you for your reply. Please respect us and do not reply back as we are not interested in ever dealing with your company.
We have many other trusted suppliers in and out of China that we will continue to work with for our magnets.

之后我连发了几封邮件解释以及打电话,可是客户就是不回也不接电话了。请问各位大神我做错了什么么?

我们老板娘说可能是因为我那封邮件里面提及的运费太多了,让客户以为是单件的运费,所以客户以为我们在打劫他很生气。但是我看了客户的原邮件,他原本邮件里要求我们报的价格就写的是total cost,而且就算是误会了,我后来也有耐心解释了,可是为什么他就是不肯原谅我们呢?
我怀疑是不是我们的产品价格报的太高了,让客户觉得是天价,因为我刚入这行不久,不清楚行价,价格都是老板娘那边直接报给我的。
如果是我的邮件写得有什么不得体的地方,请各位大神指点出来,让我学习一下,谢谢大家。 最后祝大家中秋快乐~~!

楼主,客人的回复中为何跟你讲“respect us”呢,你有没思考过?他第一封邮件中写的很清楚“...air freight shipping...”,而你却跟他报海运费。至于空运费,你只是顺带一提“...even more”,more是多少?如果我是客户,我也会很不开心,觉得你的报价不认真、很随意。所以,我个人的理解,这就是他为何跟你讲“respect us”。
  客户的询价,不是越快报出去就越好的。最起码,你得看清楚他们的要求再报。如果报价只是答非所问,是不是浪费客户的时间,同时又是不是浪费你自己的时间呢?
  至于运费是否报的高,你找2-3家货代咨询做个对比就心中有数了。如果找了2家货代咨询,他们的价格差的离谱,那就再找第三家咨询。

Dear XX,

Thanks very much for your reply.

For the Neo 52 RE 26mm long X 24 diameter cuni coated magnet, the EXW price is USD7.4/pc based on a qty of 500 pcs, and the door to door air freight shipping is USD XXXX.XX(空运费用), and so the total cost is XXXX.XX(把500*7.4再加空运费一起算出个总的费用来). Delivery time by air is XX days.

We have another option for your reference. If you don't need these 500 pcs magnet very urgently and happen to have a container leaving China in the following days, we suggest you to consider shipping them out by sea(as long as there's space for the 500 pcs in this container), as it's much cheaper than that by air freight. If this is ok, we will send the magnets to the factory where the container is at now or will arrive at.

Please let me know your decision. Thanks.

PS. 写这个回复时,我无意中发现了楼主回复时存在的逻辑上的问题。你报给客户的门到门总海运费是USD643,然后又问客户近期是否有货柜从国内出,有的话寄过去一起拼柜出。这样的话,这个USD643费用还算是门到门的费用吗?就现在的海运形势(海运费超高)以及我的了解,USD643肯定是做不了门到门的,能做CIF就已经不错了。可否告知这票货的重量是多少?

你为什么要加这句话?多此一举,非常典型的国内业务员的思维模式

门到门 643美金,怎么空运费用还更贵?当然货太少走空运还不如快递的门到门。你字面说到更贵,是觉得人家支付不起?还有你上面自己设想多加那段走集装箱海运的。

楼上说得没错,你的话太多了,非常主观臆断。

我之后也意识到自己的不对,所以后来马上补了一封邮件:

Dear xx,

There is maybe some misunderstanding between us, right?

Please allow me to explain as below, thanks for your time:

For the unit price of the N52 magnet, the EXW price is USD 7.4/pc, is it too high for you?

For the door to door freight, as the unit price our forwarder quoted to us is RMB75/kg, and the air freight of door to door is even more higher, RMB86/kg, the total estimated weight for 500 pcs N52 is 54kg, so the total shipping cost is USD 643.

Maybe the price is too high for you, which makes you think we are trying to “rob” you, but it is what our forwarder told us, we also think it’s too high for you, that’s why we suggest you to ship the 500 pcs magnet along with your container in China, may I know your idea?
