圣诞贺卡-老美文化习惯

翻翻过去邮件,看到关于节日贺卡,客户的回复,分享于此

曾经经常发邮件客户都不回复(包括新客户老客户)于是那年临近圣诞节,大家除了日常的电子贺卡外,还一起想起来 给客户寄贺卡,寄礼物,增加与客户的感情。实际礼物不贵,但是运费太贵,每个包裹几百块,所以只挑重点客户,其次客户,就用邮政寄贺卡,十几块钱而已,再其次就发电子贺卡  记得那时候,邮件一般不回复的客户,而说我们寄出圣诞礼物、贺卡,秒回复。;P   但是还是有些客户无回复,就会再追问。

以下曾经某一个客户(忘记是否有合作了,还是只是样品),对此类邮件的批评。 想想也是,人家毕竟还是技术总监,高学历。:lol 侧面了解下国外收到贺卡 堆积如山,没人去记得哪个是哪个人的贺卡。 (p.s. 邮件截图好像不能直接在文中体现)

in the US is considered rude to ask if an unsolicited mail was received. It is garish and arrogant to keep insisting after being ignored the first time.

Well, we receive a LOT of cards during the holiday season. They are appreciated and displayed for everyone to enjoy.  We don't keep track of who sent what, and nobody ever asks since that would mean someone would have to spend time looking thought the piles of cards.
