7岁时在武汉生活过一年的德国客人发来的慰问信

Dear Colin,



I was really sad when I first heard about the earthquake and the sadness increases after I have seen same pictures of the area at TV.

Since my childhood I have a special relationship to your country because when I was seven years old I lived for one year with my parents in Wuhan.

It is quite a long time ago but the kindness and open-heartedness of the people I kept in mind all the years.

I could imagine how painful it must be if you lose relatives or friends on this way.

So let me expressing my sympathy to all these people but also to all Chinese People which were involved in any kind to this terrible natural disaster.

I hope your relatives and friends and also the once of all the other people of your company are fine.



I also hope that the people will get back to normal life as time goes by and the sadness will change back to the happiness I still have in mind from my childhood.



I would like to thank you Colin for giving me the opportunity to express my condolence to all the Chinese People on this way.



I wish you and all the other Chinese People all the best for the future.
