一封带有侮辱性质的邮件-亲身经历

我们公司的推广是电话营销为主,邮件为辅,5月13日收到老美的一封邮件,当时看到感觉很气愤,你不买,你不跟我合作都可以, 可是你不能这样侮辱中国人啊!!
我回了一封邮件,很客气,全文没个脏字,自己是压着一腔怒火写完的,目的很简单,以理服人,有理不在声高.


老外原文如下:
Thank you for your information regarding your company's tooling capability.  However, we already represent a plastic molder with in-house tooling capability located in America.

The truth of the matter is that Chinese manufacturers have become notorious for: 1. substituting customer's specified materials for inferior ones, 2. charging for molds or dies, but claiming it is really theirs if customer wants to pull the tooling, 3. highly variable quality, 4. taking their customer's design, knocking off a copy of it and then selling it on the side, 5 taking forever to deliver the order and when parts are finally received, they don't meet print, and 6. refusing to give credit on rejected parts.

At a recent trade show a sales rep was bragging to me how much market share he was grabbing by undercutting his competitor's pricing through representing a Chinese metal stamper. When I asked him if the parts he was getting from China had any quality issues, he groaned that he had to buy a bunch of used kick presses to rework the Chinese made parts so they met customer's print.

When the cost of ownership is calculated, instead of just the sales price, not to mention the headaches associated in dealing with Chinese companies, many Chinese products are really more expensive than products made in the United States of America.

We have picked up a number of new customers, who have tried Chinese vendors, but have become so disenchanted with their experience that they didn't want to do business with China anymore.

Besides, why would I want to help build up China's military-industrial complex? Chinese military leaders have already threatened to rain nuclear warheads on American cities should China invade Taiwan and the US comply with its treaty obligation to defend Taiwan from foreign invasion. Only a fool would want to do business with a hostile military power!

We represent only American owned companies, who employee American workers. We are not interested in anything coming from China, or anywhere else for that matter.

Dear Michele

Thank you very much for you quick reply,however I am very disappointed with what you wrote.

First I feel very sorry for the bad experience with some Chinese suppliers as you mentioned,I don't want to explain anything or track it is true or not.
But you know,the reports show United States is buying the largest part of Chinese export products,hundreds of millions tons of cargo made in China flow into USA market,Chinese products is popular in USA and all over the world,this is the undenable and you can not change it.Please just ask yourself,why?
By the way,you don't have any bad experience with the people from your own country?

I don't push you or any your customers to buy products from China,you can choose any country for your import business,this is your freedom and right,but anyway,more other American people who look deep into the truth and the people who have not been misdirected by the medium will make their own choices---buy something nice from China !

Second,Taiwan is part of China with long history,I can forgive your mistake this time because you may be know nothing about Chinese history, but if you have no idea about your mistake and insist it,Chinese people will not forgive you forever.

Third,You are a business man,how much do you know about Chinese military truth for allowing you to talk freely who is the invader.As far as I know, It is USA who strongly insist its missile defense system despite of opposer from all over the world.

我就是不想被他反咬说中国人没素质之类的才没有用强的语气.
这种人太极端.你不知道激怒他后他要怎么胡言乱语了.
反正我回复他之后,他没再给我邮件,只有一个已读回执.

这应该是相当多美国人对中国的看法，从侧面也可以感知美国人为什么不喜欢中国人。

他说的中国质量问题确实存在，国人需要努力。

他没有侮辱 他心平气和 当一个人心平气和的提出他对你的看法时 你首先不该去想着怎么维护自己的面子和尊严 因为他并不是为了侮辱你而说这些 他只是经历了一些事 有了一些看法 很诚恳的告诉你

可惜楼主像大多人所谓有气节的人一样 在这种时刻不会有丝毫反省 还是以高姿态一二三四的给人讲课 好像因为他是外国人 所以不管他说对说错 我们都不能承认错误 反驳第一

此人并没有从中国买东西的经验，他说了，We represent only American owned companies, who employee American workers. We are not interested in anything coming from China, or anywhere else for that matter.

因此，所有的都是他道听途说，他不知道那些从中国买东西的美国嘴上每天抱怨，但不知道赚了多少钱了。

其它方面，讲中国产品都可以接受，但台湾问题上面的说法，我们是断然不可以接受的。

凭什么说他与台湾有条约就觉得帮台湾打中国就合理了？

他打伊拉克就正义了？我们收回台湾就是INVASION?

笑话！天大的笑话！

我对你的反应感到非常惊讶!
就算他说的是事实,他之前的中国供应商也都很烂,那我也不至于自己搬石头砸自己的脚说I agree with you吧!!!毕竟我是在推销自己的公司和产品.
他刚开始的那些评价我都可以勉强接受,就当是对国货质量的一个警钟,但是后面他提到的台湾问题你也要我心平气和!!!

我不认为楼主的行为可以使对方稍微改变一些对中国人的看法.
相反的,这么长的反击,我认为你的行为会让他更讨厌中国货,中国人,一直到讨厌我们的国家.

也遇到过这样的情况.一般就两句话.
很多中国人不是你(对方)说的那样,很多外国人也不是你(对方)那样.
