This serves to inform that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) and the Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) will be adjusted to below quantum for all shipments moving from Hong Kong, South China and Taiwan on our Silk, Lion, Jade, Dragon, Tiger and Phoenix Service Westbound (except for South America East Coast (SAEC) destinations).
Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF)
To UK, North West Continent, Baltic Sea Region, Portugal and Scandinavia:
Quantum: USD 556 / 1112 / 1112 for 20’ / 40’ / 40’HQ
Baltic Sea Region includes the following countries/ports:-
Denmark (Aarhus, Copenhagen)
Sweden (Goeteborg, Helsingborg, Malmoe, Stockholm, Norrkoeping, Gaevle, Soedertaelje, Vaesteras)
Poland (Gdynia, Gdansk)
Estonia (Tallin, Muuga)
Latvia (Riga)
Lithuania (Klaipeda)
Russia (St. Petersburg, Kronstadt, Kaliningrad)
Finland (Helsinki, Kotka, Rauma, Turku, Oulu, Hamina, Hanko, Kemi, Mantyluoto, Tornio)
To Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black Sea, and North Africa:
Quantum: USD 546 / 1092 / 1092 for 20’ / 40’ / 40’HQ
Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF)
Quantum: + 18.2%
Effective Date
01st June, 2008 (against bill of lading date)
